Intro
Ancient Beast is a turn based strategy indie game project, played against other people (or bots) in hotseat or online modes, featuring a wide variety of units to acquire and put to good use in order to defeat all your opponents in battle.
This project was carefully designed to be easy to learn, fun to play and hard to master. We hope you'll enjoy it as well!
Plot
It's the year 2653. In the last few centuries, technology advanced exponentially and everyone had a fair chance of playing God. With help from the RepRap project, a free desktop 3d printer, which gave anyone power to build their own weapon factory or genetic laboratory on their own property. Mechanic parts or genetic modifications turned from a fashion option into a requirement for daily survival.
Despite their combined efforts, the world's governments couldn't prevent the world from plunging into chaos. The Earth has become a battlefield, split between 7 factions fighting for dominion over the ravaged landscape. The apocalypse is here and only the strong ones will surpass it.

Ancient Beast est un projet indépendant de jeu de stratégie au tour par tour, joué contre d’autres personnes (ou bots) en mode hotseat ou en ligne, proposant une grande variété d’unités à acquérir et à utiliser pour vaincre tous vos adversaires au combat.
Ce projet a été soigneusement conçu pour être facile à apprendre, amusant à jouer et difficile à maîtriser. Nous espérons que vous l'apprécierez aussi !
Scénario
Nous sommes en 2653. Au cours des derniers siècles, la technologie a progressé de manière exponentielle et tout le monde avait une chance de jouer à Dieu. Avec l'aide du projet RepRap, une imprimante 3D de bureau gratuite, qui donne à tout un chacun le pouvoir de construire sa propre fabrique d'armes ou son laboratoire de génétique sur son propre terrain. Les parties mécaniques ou les modifications génétiques sont passées d'une option de mode à une exigence de survie quotidienne.
Malgré leurs efforts conjugués, les gouvernements du monde entier n'ont pu empêcher le monde de sombrer dans le chaos. La Terre est devenue un champ de bataille, divisé en 7 factions luttant pour la domination sur le paysage ravagé. L'apocalypse est là et seuls les plus forts la surpasseront.
